Option to Regenerate the PDF Conversion of a Document

Files that are often created in programs like Microsoft Word or PowerPoint and can be difficult for a PDF converter to process accurately. More complex documents might include:

  1. Complex layouts with multiple columns
  2. Embedded tables from spreadsheet programs like Excel
  3. Charts, graphs, and other embedded objects
  4. High-resolution images or graphics

When a document with this level of complexity is converted, the system may struggle to maintain the precise layout, leading to issues in the final PDF such as:

  • Misaligned text that overlaps with other elements
  • Corrupted graphics that appear pixelated or are entirely missing
  • Incorrect page breaks that split tables or images across multiple pages

At the document level, under 'More Options', there is an option to regenerate the PDF. Clicking this option clears the existing PDF cache for the document and its attachments, then immediately starts the reconversion process for the main document. Attachments will be reconverted the next time they are exported to PDF. This option will help quickly if there are conversion glitches in the account.
