Note: Users will need to be assigned to the 'Administration: Account Super User' role, or assigned the role permission of "Can Set a Training Item as Compliant / Non-Compliant and Extend Due Dates For Any User". If you have direct reports, you will not be able to extend training due dates for these users, unless you have the permission "Can Set a Training Item as Compliant / Non-Compliant and Extend Due Dates For Any User" or are an account admin.
With our 29.2.0 release, users now have the ability to have their training due dates extended seamlessly right from their training dossiers. This new feature empowers users to maintain compliance effortlessly while adapting to evolving schedules and prioritizing continuous learning without administrative hurdles.
Extending Training Due Dates
From the Main Dashboard, please click on the Training Module icon.
On the Training Module Dashboard, select 'Training: Trainee Records' from the dropdown.
Select which trainee view you need so that the table will populate. Search for the user that needs a due date extension for an outstanding, assigned training item and click on the 'dossier' hyperlink next to their name:
On the user's dossier you will see all training items assigned to the user, including all items that are at-risk and past due. Click in the checkboxes next to the item(s) that you would like to extend the due date for:
Once all the items are checked, click on the blue 'Extend Training Due Date' button. A pop up will appear; please enter the new date that you would like as the user's training due date for this item. Click 'Submit' when finished:
After the due date has been updated, you will see a success message at the top of the screen and the due date will update in the user's dossier:
