Description
This minor release introduces some key enhancements across Documents, Insights and Training modules, as well as important performance enhancements and bug fixes across the app.
Key updates include:
- Ability to Extend Training Due Dates for users from their Training Dossier. This will be available for Account Administrator or users with permission "Can Set a Training Item as Compliant / Non-Compliant and Extend Due Dates For Any User".
- Ability to add additional columns on training tables from Main Dashboard and Training Dashboard. Depending on the selected view from Dashboard, the list of new available columns might include: Item ID, Item Type, User Email, User Title, Supervisor Name, Supervisor Email, Site Name, Site Q-ID, Category.
- Important performance enhancements when completing training on Documents or when opening Documents for view/edit/review due to changes in the way we are rendering the PDFs. Dynamic information like user email and time stamp from PDF header and watermark were replaced with placeholders when documents are rendered within ZenQMS. However, when Documents are exported and downloaded as PDFs, time stamp and user email will be correctly captured included in the final file.
- Ability to save and delete filter views in Insights Dashboards.
- Ability to navigate to items inside ZenQMS from insights Dashboard, by clicking on item ID or name.
- Restricting the ability of adding Plain Text / Instructions custom fields to the PDF Header of Documents.
- Updating Account Audit Trail Event text for revisions created by a collaborative editing session.
- Removing "Comments" field from signatures required when completing training on Documents.
- Adding Document Category Name in the PDF header of exported Documents.
- Adding "Created at" column in Settings -> Document Categories table.
- Updating the columns for Items Past Due section from Main Dashboard to include: Module, Item Name, Item Type, Stage/Description, Due Date.
- Adding the ability to download SCORM .zip file for Account Admins and SCORM Owners.
- Implemented a 15-minute expiration timeout for Training Sessions on SCORM items to ensure alignment with the expiration settings in ZenQMS.
- Added additional options for Retraining Interval on SCORM items: 36, 48 and 60 months.
- Updated User Experience on My Downloads page by exposing Download option as the first column.

- INSIGHT-484: Inaccurate Counts for Completed Document Reviews in Documents Insights Dashboard
- IM-1520: Multiple Super Editor workflows able to be launched, causing one to remain stuck
- DM-6631: Removing category permissions isn't working on My Company Main Dashboard, Viewing a Document, and Settings->Roles/Permissions slider causing users to access items they shouldn't any more

Version Details
ZenQMS comprises a microservice architecture that breaks up large functions into smaller services. This reduces risk in the development and release process. As such this flagship release version is actually composed of the releases of the individual services components. It is entirely possible for a component service to not change versions in a release cycle even if other components do. Here is the summary for this release.
ZenQMS Release 29.2.0 contains the following “FixVersions”. We use FixVersion as an internal versioning scheme for our modules/services and maintain them in Jira.
