Description

This patch will fix a number bugs in the Documents Module:

DM-5764: Users with read only access and assigned to train cannot click the Suggest Edits button
DM-6032: Delegate dropdown is not populated with users, even if the users/roles are added correctly
DM-6063: User is still seeing the document in "My dashboard" after he is removed as author
DM-6089: Review/Suggested edits slider not displaying in Approved or Effective documents for Can Edit Any Document in Category user
DM-6166: Users with category permission "Can Edit Any Document in Category" cannot view the 'Reviews/Suggested Edits' slider
DM-6229: 'ZenQMS System User' is displayed as 'Deleted User' in the Workflows/Signatures slider
DM-6288: ZenQMS Inserted Headers have moved and causing issues when rendered
DM-6289: Workflows Approvers and Authors getting notification to train when the "Automatically create training records for authors and workflow participants"" is toggled to yes
DM-6327: Two Retire workflows launched at the same time
DM-6339: Migrated Table View Columns can lead to full table not loading the saved table view
DM-6350: Document Approvers Cannot See Training Challenge Question Multiple Choice Options
DM-6353: Signature Window Opens Up Before User Can Select Approve or Reject in Retirement Workflow

PDF-839: Some PDF source files were throwing an error in the PDF viewer when trying to upload
PDF-842: PDF: Adobe e-signature field no longer available after exporting PDFs from ZenQMS
PDF-850: Attachments added to an original PDF are not preserved when exporting the document from ZenQMS

Impact

This release impacts users in the Documents Module, particularly Authors and Super Users who may be launching or completing workflows, uploading source files, and managing documents throughout their lifecycle.

An entire release record will be available for review after the release is completed, in the auditor share account.

Version Details

ZenQMS comprises a microservice architecture that breaks up large functions into smaller services. This reduces risk in the development and release process. As such this flagship release version is actually composed of the releases of the individual services components. It is entirely possible for a component service to not change versions in a release cycle even if other components do. Here is the summary for this release.

ZenQMS Release 29.0.4 contains the following “FixVersions”. We use FixVersion as an internal versioning scheme for our modules/services and maintain them in Jira.
