29.0.3 Release

Description

This patch will fix a number bugs in the Documents Module:

• DM-5425: User is able to create multiple draft versions for a document
• DM-5996: Draft document cannot be deleted if it has links
• DM-6150: Notification emails are not following the correct step order from the category workflow
• DM-6245: Signatures step numbers on Reviewers and Authors in the Retirement workflow are incorrect in Workflows/Signatures slider
• DM-6248: Submitting an suggest edit for a document that has an active draft version was receiving an error.
• DM-6253: User with Permission to Cancel Active Workflow Cannot Cancel Periodic Review Workflow
• DM-6263: Keyword search in full table not returning results for documents created before 29.0.0
• DM-6264: Quick Links section still displaying links to legacy Documents Full Table
• DM-6267: Update order of the Training tabs to be: Manage Assigned Trainees as first and Training Challenge Questions as second
• DM-6281: Super Users can not delete draft documents 
• DM-6282: Table views and advanced filters containing Category column can cause a "[ErrorBoundary]" error, and cannot filter by text search in Advanced Filter
• DM-6294: All Users in Workflow are Receiving Signature Notifications
• DM-6295: Draft deletion is sometimes not working and when it doesn't work it generates DB locks
• DM-6300: Draft reviews cannot be completed multiple times by the same user.
• DM-6301: Annotation not saving during draft review if the user is assigned to multiple reviews
• DM-6309: Review and Suggested Edits table does not scroll to allow full visibility of all content in the table
• DM-6316: Version Comments Field does not expand enough to display all text 
• DM-6321: Number of characters for Training Questions Answers is limited to 70. Migrated Documents with training questions that have the answers truncated
• DM-6324: Active Authors Showing as "USER NOT FOUND" in the Document Full Table Export
• DM-6331: Documents Full Table is including custom fields not applicable to the document categories
• DM-6340: Controlled Copy failing when Document Key-ID contains special characters like :+?*<>/\"|
• DM-6342: Custom Field values not displaying for multi-select dropdowns on the view/edit document page
• DM-6343: "Category Editors" from old permissions were not given new category permission "Can Edit Document Details, Category Defaults, Custom Fields, and Links/Attachments"
• DM-6344: Old permission "Super Admin: Has full Edit/Admin access to any Course, Event, Test or Audit" was not given full document category permissions
• PDF-835: Pdfizer sometimes not applying x509 certificate while running multiple concurrent requests
• PDF-840: XLSX uploads in CC record are not converted to PDF when exporting
• TRAIN-1149: Users with Read only permission or assigned to train on a document + "Can See Training Records for Whole Company" permission needs to have a text under Training Challenge Questions and not see the questions
• ZENQ-6599: Unable to filter Audit Trail table for Change Control Module
• ZENQ-6617: My Download table pagination set to 25 broke the layout of table

Impact

This release impacts users in the Documents Module, particularly those utilizing Controlled Copies, navigating the Full Table, completing draft reviews, deleting draft documents, and PDF export of documents. There are also some permission mapping changes involving roles and document category permission assignments.

Version Details

ZenQMS comprises a microservice architecture that breaks up large functions into smaller services. This reduces risk in the development and release process. As such this flagship release version is actually composed of the releases of the individual services components. It is entirely possible for a component service to not change versions in a release cycle even if other components do. Here is the summary for this release.

ZenQMS Release 29.0.3 contains the following “FixVersions”. We use FixVersion as an internal versioning scheme for our modules/services and maintain them in Jira.
