Description

This minor release will deprecate the Daily Digest email and move its contents to the Daily Summary email. The Daily Summary email will now contain all of your notices for pending signatures, upcoming/past due Documents and Audits, upcoming/past due Training, upcoming/past due Change Controls, upcoming/past due Issues, upcoming/past due Tasks, and Escalation Notices.

We are also removing the 'Never' option for Notification Settings on the Daily Summary. Since this email now contains your upcoming/past due Training status, users will always need to receive this email so they will not be able to turn it off.

We are also adjusting the days in advance you will receive an email reminder for upcoming Training. Previously, the Daily Digest email would go out when you had Training coming due within 7 days. The Daily Summary will now go out when you have Training due in the next 30 days and will continue to go out daily until the training has been completed.

There are also major performance improvements to the speed of generation and delivery of the Daily Summary email. Due to the positive impact of these performance improvements, we will be releasing this minor update with less than 2 weeks notice.

Impact

This impacts all users, as all users will be receiving the Daily Summary email. No action is needed to be taken by any users, they will receive emails automatically if they have past due or an escalation notice. Here is an article that explains the new Daily Summary, click here.

Version Details

ZenQMS comprises a microservice architecture that breaks up large functions into smaller services. This reduces risk in the development and release process. As such this flagship release version is actually composed of the releases of the individual services components. It is entirely possible for a component service to not change versions in a release cycle even if other components do. Here is the summary for this release.

ZenQMS Release 2022.1P3 contains the following “FixVersions”.  We use FixVersion as an internal versioning scheme for our modules/services and maintain them in Jira.
