Permissions Reference: Folders
Action: See and use the Folders module at all
Requires the module to be enabled for the account (Settings > Active Modules), and the Folders Access account permission. Account Super User has this automatically.
Action: Create, rename, or delete a folder; add or remove items
Requires Folders Access.
Action: Securely share a folder with external recipients
Requires the account to hold the Advanced Folders & Filings entitlement, plus standard Folders Access. There's no separate sharing-specific permission today.
Action: View an item opened from a folder
Follows that item's own module-level permissions — being listed in a folder doesn't grant access beyond what you'd already have in Documents, Issues, Change Controls, Tasks, or Workflows.
