🚨 As a note, the issue and change control modules function the same way. For example, when going over the issues module dashboard, all information discussed will be true for the change control dashboard as well.
Issue and Change Control Module Dashboards
Effectively mastering the module dashboards is crucial for successful ownership. The visual tools on the dashboard clearly outline your priorities by presenting a 12-month workload forecast, categorized by color: Red indicates past-due project deadlines, Yellow signifies "at-risk" project deadlines, and Green indicates project deadlines that remain compliant. You can effortlessly switch views between your items, your direct reports, and the entire company using the view selector.
For more detailed insights, simply click on the bars in the graph, and the screen will provide further information; records are opened by clicking its key ID. You may also customize the table once you drill down. You can change your view using the view selector dropdown, which offers options for your personal view, your direct reports, and the entire company as well as the full table which lists all records in the account.
If you are designated as a supervisor for any users in the account, those users will appear as your direct reports. Please note that if your direct reports do not have any open Issue or Change Control records, the 'My Direct Reports' dashboard will be empty. You may export a table if needed.
Issues and Change Control Module Full Tables
The Issue (and Change Control) module full table is the primary access point for managing and tracking all records within your account. This view allows you, as the item owner, to review the complete lifecycle of every record—whether it's open, closed-completed, or closed-cancelled. You'll find that this isn't just a static list; the table is fully customizable, enabling you to tailor the display columns to suit your specific needs. You can also save personalized table views, ensuring that the data you need most is always just a click away for effortless and faster navigation.
All records will be displayed in the table. You can customize your view by clicking the columns icon to select or deselect column names. Additionally, you have the flexibility to rearrange the columns by moving them left or right within the table. Please note that any customizations you make will be personal to your account and will not impact other users.
To access category-specific custom fields, first select the desired category from the dropdown menu. After selecting the category, you can then choose the relevant custom fields from the column selector to add to the table.
Saved Table Views
You can save your table customizations as saved table views for easy access. To create a new view, arrange the table to your preference, then click the gear icon and select 'create new view'.
To save your customized view, enter a name for it and click on 'save'. Once saved, you can easily access this view from the 'table view' dropdown menu. You have the option to set the view as private or share it with the entire company. Additionally, you can update or delete views as needed. These settings can be found under the gear icon.
