The Audit Module Main Dashboard Overview

The Audits Main Dashboard

The audits module main dashboard can be toggled between two different views: audits or observations. The audits dashboard is your calendar and status view and where you go to see the big picture of your audit schedule. It tracks the progress of the audit reports themselves, showing you which audits are still being planned, which are currently happening, and which ones are finished and signed off. The observations dashboard is your findings and flaws view. It doesn’t care about the schedule; it cares about the observations logged during those audits. This dashboard pulls all those observations into one place for easy reference.

The Audits Dashboard

There are two widgets on the audits main dashboard, state of audits and audits pipeline

State of Audits Chart: This chart acts as a visual roadmap that shows exactly where every audit stands in its lifecycle, from initial planning to final completion. Each horizontal bar represents a specific stage in the process. The numbers at the end of each bar tell you at a glance how many audits are currently sitting in that phase.

Audits Pipeline: This chart is a time-based visual tool that helps you stay ahead of your compliance deadlines by showing when audits are due. Unlike the state of audits chart, which shows what stage a task is in, this bar graph organizes your audits by month and highlights their urgency using our simple color-coding system. A red bar signifies an audit is past due, a yellow bar indicates an audit is at risk of missing its deadline, and a green bar shows that your schedule is compliant. By looking at the months ahead you can anticipate your upcoming workload.

The Observations Dashboard

There are two widgets on the observation main dashboard, observations severity and observations pipeline

Observations Severity Chart: This chart gives you an immediate look at audit observation findings by grouping them into four categories: critical, major, minor, and comment. Like other charts in the module, you can click on any bar to pull up a full list of those specific findings for further review. The numbers following each blue bar represent the total count of individual findings categorized by their level of seriousness.

As a reminder, the 'comment' status is in regards to selecting 'comment' in the observation. Please see the screenshot below for reference.

Observations Pipeline: This chart acts as a visual timeline that helps you track and manage the deadlines for resolving your audit findings. It organizes observations by their due dates into a color-coded bar graph, where red indicates past due items , yellow signifies items that are at risk of becoming late, and green highlights compliant records that are still within their target window. The numbers displayed above each colored bar represent the total count of observations currently in that status. Like other charts in the module, you can click on any bar to pull up a full list of those specific findings for further review.
