Locklizard Safeguard Viewer Installation Information for Controlled Copies

Windows Installation

1. Download and install: Locklizard for Windows

2. Choose "Save" to download to your desktop.

3. Right-click on the program and select "Run As Administrator" to start the installation process.

4. To download the license, log into ZenQMS. Navigate to Settings - Preferences. Click on the hyperlink "License key required to view controlled copies" to download. 

5. Open the file and you will receive a success message:

6. To view downloaded controlled copies, double-click on the saved .pdc file.

7.  The file will open in the safeguard viewer.

Mac Installation

1. Download and install: Locklizard for Mac

2. Check your security settings are adequate to run the installation application. To do this, click on the Apple icon and then "System Preferences". Select the "Security & Privacy" icon. Click on the "Padlock" icon on the bottom left of the window and enter your Mac credentials (username and password) in order to change your security settings. Select "Allow applications downloaded from: Mac App Store and identified developers" and then confirm this.

3. Double-click on PDCViewerSetup.pkg to start the installation process.

4. Once installed the Viewer software is available from the "Applications" folder.

5. To download the license, log into ZenQMS. Navigate to Settings - Preferences. Click on the hyperlink "License key required to view controlled copies" to download. 

6. Open the file and you will receive a success message:

8. The file will open in the safeguard viewer.
