Below is a recording of our Quality Lab: What's New with Version 29.3.0 hosted by our VP of Client Services, Emily Ruth.

Q: Will we be able to build our own reports and save them in this reports section? No. If you need reports that are not standard reports, we will need to build them on our end. There will be a one time creation fee and a recurring annual delivery fee of the custom reports. Then, they will be saved in your reports section, and you can also opt in to receive those via email.

Q: Are standard reports included and it's only custom reports that have additional cost? That is correct, there will be a number of standard reports available to you without charge. Readily accessible custom reports would come with an additional cost.

Q: Are you able to open the document in the microsoft app instead of the web version? The updates will still save in Zen? No, it will only work with the web version. All the updates will be saved in zen. Our end goal is to have it work with the desktop app eventually.

Q: Looks like the Author should go in first and change Editing to Reviewing. It is best practice to have the user who starts the collaborative editing to turn on the ‘reviewing' and ‘track changes on for everyone’ settings. Once you add these settings, they will remain in place when the other users enter the editing session.

Q: Do I need to assign a specific role for the user to be able for online review? You can add any active users as reviewers. They don’t need to be assigned any specific roles/permissions to be able to complete the review.

Q: For review - is the review sequential or in parallel? Currently, parallel.

Q: Can there be multiple reviewers at the same time? Yes.

Q: Will the track-changes version of the document still be visible in ZenQMS even after approval? No, only the final revision will be visible once the document is approved. If you will still need access to the track-changes version, you will need to make sure to download it before routing the document through the approval process.
