Note: Users will need the permission "Can See All Issues (Read Only Access)" at the Issues category level to be assigned as a project, stage, and/or task assignee. All project, stage, and/or task assignees will be able to request a due date extension.

 

Request a Due Date Extension for an Issue Project

Log into your ZenQMS account and navigate to your Issues Full Table. Open the Issue that you would like to extend the project due date for:

In the Details section click the "mceclip0.png" icon:

A Request Due Date Change box will slide in from the right:

1. You will be asked to fill in the new requested date

2. The reason/rationale for the request.

3. The requester's name will be listed here

4. Select the user from the dropdown to approve this request

5. You can add additional approval workflow steps, if needed

6. Click "Launch Workflows". The alert will be sent to the approver(s) for review. 

 

Note: The requester will receive a notification if the request has been approved or if the request has been rejected via email.

 

Any due date extension requests will be logged in the Due Date History log:

Request a Due Date Extension for a Stage in an Issue

Log into your ZenQMS account and navigate to your Issues Full Table. Open the Issue that you would like to extend the stage due date for:

In the Stage click the "mceclip0.png" icon:

Follow the same steps outlined above to request a stage due date extension.

 

 

Request a Due Date Extension for an Issue Task

Log into your ZenQMS account and navigate to your Issues Full Table. Open the Issue that you would like to extend an assigned task due date for:

Click the hyperlinked task name to open the task:

In the Task click the "mceclip0.png" icon:

Follow the same steps outlined above to request an Issue task due date extension.
