NOTE: Users will need the permission "Can Create/Manage New Training Courses" to create a new training course.
Training Courses are created to plan, track and manage employee training. Training courses are a great way to assign multiple documents to a user or role; we in fact recommend using courses to assign document training items. Training courses are created in the Training Module by selecting "Training: Courses" from the dropdown:
Documents and OJT Events can be added to a Training Course syllabus from the Training Course Review/Management Window. Training Assignees can be added to the training course from the "Assigned Trainees" section:
Whatever grace period days, documents security, training intervals, etc. that have been set at the document level will persist in the course. Users will see the training items that are assigned to the training course on their Main Dashboard as items that need to be completed. As a reminder, Users do not sign off on OJT Events, but instead the OJT Event Organizer marks all assigned Users as "compliant".
