Note: Users will need the permission "Can Add New Documents" at the specific category level to batch upload.

Batch uploading documents is efficient, time saving, offers consistency of documents uploaded in a uniform manner, and reduces manual work.

Batch Uploading

Click the green plus button from the Main Dashboard and select document:

doc.jpeg

Select Batch Upload:

batch.jpeg

On the left hand side, click Add Files and select the files that you are batch uploading:

add.jpeg

After the files are uploaded, you can fill in the General Settings section for the batch upload:

gs.jpeg

When filling in the details, if you select a document category that has category specific custom fields, the custom field(s) will populate for values to be filled in.

cf.jpeg

Note: If there is a category specific document custom field and a value is added, that value will be added to the custom field for all documents that are being uploaded.

After all required information is filled in, click Submit and Create Documents:

You will be required to sign off on this action. When batch uploading, this action bypasses any approval workflows that are configured at the category level and will not need any additional approvals after this initial signature. Click Submit Electronic Signature to finish:

When the documents are done uploading, you will see a confirmation page in the account:

f.jpeg

All documents will now be listed on the documents full table. The state of the documents will depend on the effective date that is set for the items that were batch uploaded:

Note: The documents name will be the file names when batch uploading.
